"Sukh Sagar" and "Mata Sagar" are another 2 large tank of Dinajpur. The Sukh Sagor is located at the "Rajbatika" area of the Dinajpur town. This is just few minutes distance from the "Dinajpur Rajbari". Mata Sagor is siituated at the in Dinajpur town at Raja Rampur village. Once all banks of the water tank was covered with very high hills. Mata Sagor is more attractive then the Sukh Sagor. And they never dry at any seasson.

Ramsagar is a largest man made lake of Bangladesh situated in the village Tejpur eight kilometer south of the Dinajpur town. The lake wide is about 1079m north-south and length 192.6m in East-West. Ramsagar was stablished in the mid 1750s by Raja Ram Nath. About 1.5 million worker took part to dug the lake and total cost is 30000 taka that time.

The total area of Ramsagar National Park about 60 square km. Forest Department of Bangladesh have planted different type of ornamental and fruit trees that have flourished and become forested areas. Around the Ramsagar it is a familiar picnic place for tourists. The Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation has improve some tourist facilities around the Ramsagar lake, such as rest-rooms, picnic spots and kiosks to sell refreshments, as well as playgrounds for children to enjoy.

The lake is full of different type of fishes. There have some fresh water crocodiles. In national park there has some animals such as Deer, Wild Boar, Blue Bull, Sloth Bear and Hyena. There some birds such as White-Breasted Water Hen, Jacanas, Moorhen, River Tern, Sand Piper, Ringed Plover and Grey and Purple Herons are seen. Moreover, the lake is a safe place for migratory birds.

Whatever it is a place which is full of natural beauty. So government should give more concentration about the National park.

At Gopalgang village about six kilometer distance of Dinajpur District head quarter there has a old temple name "Twin temple" locally known as "Jora Mandir". It records that the Jora Mandir was estiblashed  by Raja Ramnath (1722-1752) in 1676 Shaka era (1754 AD). Now it almost in ruins cause of no care. If you go there you will find 2 Mandir (Temple). Distance between two Temple 100 miter. One of the two is a 25 ratna twelve-sided structure, while the other is a 5 ratna quadrangular temple. The vicinity area of the temples are acquired by the local people, and they have build their own houses around the temple. The area of the mandir are acquired by the local people, and they have establish their own houses side the temple. Thereby causing serious damage to the structures. Both temple are so nice. Gorashohid Boro Moydan is a big ground in Dinajpur town. This field located at the center of the town. At the center of the field there have some graves of Martyrs or This field may be a spot where people killed during 1971 Liberation war of Bangladesh. Now this ground used as Eidgah (Eid prayer). This is realy big ground. it take 10-15 min for pass the the field. Beside the field there is a monument (shohid minar) and opposite side situated the DC office.

NAYABAD MASJID OR MOSQUE

Nayabad masjid is located on the side of the river Dhepa in Nayabad, Ramchandrapur Union, Kaharole subdistrict of Dinajpur district. This masjid is situated about twenty kilometer to the north-west of the Dinajpur town. The masjid, established on about 1.15 bighas of land. A madrasa institute has recently been made in front of the masjid.

An oath-ta on the middle doorway records the date of its erection as : ( 2 Jyaistha, 1200 BS (1793 AD) in the reign of Emperor shah alam II ). As per to local heritage, the masjid was built by islamic architectural workers who had come to this area from the west to made Kantanagar Mandir in mid eighteenth century. The workers had settled in Nayabad village and had established the masjid for their own use.

It is an rectangle size 3-domed masjid with octangular towers at the 4 corners and measures 12.45m ´ 5.5m externally. The walls are 1.10metre fat. Of the 3 arched doors the middle one is largest. The 3 doors are equal in height and width. The central arch is 1.95m high and 1.15m wide. There is an arched window each on the south and north sides. There are 3 mihrabs inside in the western side. The central mihrab is largest ( hight is 2,30meter and wide is 1.08meter ) than the flanking ones which are same size. 3 Hemisphere like domes cover the masjid, of which the middle one is larger than the side 2 domes.

The terracotta used in the decoration of the masjid have become loose and many of them have been damaged. Now there are about 104 terracotta plaques used in the surface decoration of the masjid walls.

History of Dinagpur Rajbari or Palace
History says that Raja Dinaj or Dinaraj is the establisher of the Dinajpur Rajbari. But others say that after usurping the Ilyas Shahi rule, the familiar "Raja Ganesh" of the early fifteenth century was the true founder
of this Rajbari . At the end of the seventeenth century Srimanta Dutta Chaudhury became the zamindar of Dinajpur and after him, his sister's son Sukhdeva Ghosh hereditary the property as Srimanta's son had a premature death.

In fact the Dinajpur Rajbari is all in its remnant. Most of the palace are tumbledown. Only few structures are alive. While entering the rajbari, you have to pass a tall arched gate facing west. Inside the palace precinct near the gateway on left is a colored Krisna temple and on right, some ruined outhouses and another inner gateway that provides access to an inner square court. Facing the courtyard on the east is a flat-roofed temple You will watch several statue of the Hindu gods inside the Temple.

The Rajbari consist principally of three groups of Mahals (blocks), named as Aina Mahal, Rani Mahal and Thakurbadi Mahal, sides other minor buildings, established by different Rajas and Zamindars at tomes to times. A few number of temples, rest houses, charitable dispensaries, tanks and building of employees and retainers were also made within the Rajbari area. The total area of Rajbari is16.41 acres of land including 2 big tanks on the east and south, the moat, garden, zoo, a tennis court, Katchary and the House of Kumar.

Conclusion
With all this rajbari or palace is a beautiful historical ancient heritage. This Rajbari is not acquired by Bangladesh Govt. For that there is no care is taken. Inside the remnant of the old Dinajpur rajbari, people used to leave the wastes and caused damage day by day of this Palace. So government should take earlier stapes to protect this palace or Rajbari.

Bara Jamalpur Mosque is situated at the village Bara (bada) Jamalpur under Sadullapur Thana of Gaibandha district, about 12 kilometres east of Pirganj Thana headquarter, and 6 kms due west of Sadullapur Thana headquarter.

This rectangular three-domed mosque is raised on a low plinth. length internally north to south 11.40 m and width east to west 3 m. Externally, 13.90m by 5.50 m. There are three arched door, of which the central one is slightly larger. There is two window filled with brick grills in the north and south walls, a single mihrab on the qibla.

There is no correct evidence of is established date. But local people says that a person named Haji Jamaluddin built it. There is no epigraphic evidence of its date. But local tradition relates that Haji Jamaluddin, He was a local revenue officer of Mughal administration. who lies buried on the northern side of the mosque compound. The Masjid named after him. On the ground of its style similarity with the dariyapur masjid. For that an early 18th century date may be suggested for the masjid.

A Brief History
In the time of 2nd world war the the fighter planes discharge bombs in many place of Bangla as Kolkata and Asam in 1942. For savijg the east side of India to set up a military deployment the place named "Chinir Elaka" is choosed. Cinir pathar is only 2 miles distance from Lalmonirhat railway station and in the east side of
Mahendra nagar railway statin it is a place of 4 square milein area. Its a place  of jungle which is now included in Mahendra nagar and Harati council. According to the time of 2nd world war it is only the safe place for the aaly side to save Asam and east side.In 14th August, 1945 after the war finished the soldiers of ally side started to come back in their own states. With this popularly known as the 2nd largest plane station closed slowly.

Again in 1958 here plane service began. From lalmonirhat to Dhaka the rent was 45 taka. that time Lalmonirhat to Dhaka the rent was in Rail was 22 taka. Because of being as double rent the corporation usually have to conveyance with empty plane. Once the station was closed.In 1965 all planes are sold by Pakistan government after the Indian attack.

After becoming free in 1972 a decisiion was took to make it the head quarter of aircraft.but this decission cold not be able to come true. Now a unit of aircraft is here.

The Teen [3] Bigha Corridor  is a Fragment of land belonging to India. It is located between Dahagram–Angarpota enclaves at Kucalibari Union in Patgram sub-district of Lalmonirhat on the West Bengal–Bangladesh border. which in September, 2011, was leased to Bangladesh so that it can access its Dahagram–Angarpota enclaves.

According to the Indira-Sheikh Mujib treaty of 1974, India and Bangladesh were to hand over the sovereignty of the Teen Bigha (Teen is three in Bengali, and bigha is a unit of area roughly 1,500 to 6,771 square meters) Corridor (178 x 85 sq m) and South Berubari (7.39 sq km) to each other, thereby allowing entrance to the Dahagram Angarpota enclaves and the Indian enclaves adjacent to South Berubari. Bangladesh did hand over the bigger South Berubari to India in 1974. India, however, Rejected to transfer the much smaller Teen Bigha Corridor to Bangladesh.

Near Rangpur-Kurigram highway at ramadasa maujaya in panchagram union of lalmonirhat there was a desolate forest from long time . The forest's name majader (ara-আড়া ). Local language  (ara-আড়া ) mean bushy places.  At time to clearing the jungle worker found some brick with flower design which is very ancient. Thus to remove the soil and brick and come to a full mosque foundation. The size of 6''× 6''×''an inscription found in the text of which is spastaksare Arabic-La - ilaha - illallahu muhammadur rasulullah, hijri year 69. When local people are convinced that jamme, it is - a ancint mosque ruins. At present, there is a mosque has been built.

Maharaja mod narayan's time Kakina was a  Chakla  of kocabihar. Indra Narayana Chakraborty was then the cakaladara of kakina. In 1687 the Fouzdar Ebadat khan declared war against king Mod Narayan and went to koachbihar and that time two sons of Raghu Ram Raghabendo Narayan and Ram Narayan took the support of the Fouzdar.After being faled in this war of Moghals Endra Narayan was removed from the post of Chakladar and Raghabendra Narayan was elected for Porgona 62 and Ram Narayan was elected for Kakina.As this the Chakladari of Indra Narayan Chakrawarti was finished.In 1687 that estate started in time of Ram Narayan finished in the period of Mahendra Ranjon for his unforeseen costs. When he failed to back the revenew of govenment his estate was sold in auction in 1925 and go under coart of words.Ater that he left Kakina as a destitute state. He Breathe last in Karsiang.

Short Description of Hala Boter Tol
People says that, banian tree is at least 130 years of age. The field of Eidgah under that tree is older than it.In  Pakistan period (1951-5 to khristabde) Fakir Pir was brought from jaunopur by the local khati  fakir for certain. Pir  Sahib was sitting in the trees below. A well was dag For the People coming to the field for oju. Being lack of water Due to the difficulties oju  ,Pir (saint) Sahib told to give a  vessel of water to the well. The lack of water was then removed and never happened. It was also  less than the time before the end of the distribution concerns khicuri Pir saheb give cover of the pipkin. According to his instructions to remove the lid a little after the start of the khicuri distribution. at the end of the distribution of the khicuri few neighboring villages people who didnt come to hear is also possible to send them. Pir Sahib was to go, but the place of speech was considered to be a holy place to people,people see with special respect towards the banyan tree too. After Bangladesh won  its independence it spred. Every Friday still a lot of people from different places come here to be seen Manat.

A Brief History of Nidariya Mosque
Mughals subadar MANSUR KHAN donated 10.56 acres of land for the mosque and built it in 1176 . In that time there was motayalli as Ijar Mahmood Sheikh, Bijara Sheikh Mahmud , Khan Mahmud Sheikh . People says because Subedar Mansur Kha's not of having  dari(দাড়ী)for that the mosques was known as Nidariya. Now the local people pray in this mosque.

During the period of Maharaja Pran Narayan "Rsik Ray bigroho" happened in 1634 and in that time the origin of tushvandar Murari dev Ghosal Vottacharjo from 24 porgona/Kolkata's Jay nagar came in Koach bihar and in upuonchouki matter get a taluk anstarted to live here. during that time to do religious work land was given by upenchouki matter.Murari dev disagree to take the donation of the shudro king's beacuse he is a brammon.he appealed to take rent for the land. after that the queen agreed to take paddy bran as rent. dew to give rent as paddy bran it was stored near landlord house in the east side and after it was sent to the Koachbihar kings house. with this bran many religious events happened in the kings house. people says that,for the stored bran this place was named as tushvandar. by brammahan murari dev vottacharja the landlord of tushvandar was declared. and in 1935 with his death as long 400 years land owner was camw into an end.

A Brief History
Karim was born in Bengali 30th chaitra in 1289, (according to history researcher samar pal 14 April 1883) at the end of Monday night (Tuesday),in kaliganja sadar in kakina village. Kokila Bibi was his mother. His wife's name was Basiron Nesa.

He died in the mid-night of September 8, 1936  kakinaya in his own home, He occupied in front of his house.To bright his memory fajlal sisuniketana and Karim Girls' High School was made in Lalmonirhat corporation khordoshaptona mouja in west in collectoret field in 1945.

Largest Irrigation project of Bangladesh is Tista barrage. Tista Barrage situated on Tista River at Duani Union in hatibandha sub district in lalmonirhat district. The length of Tista Barrage is 615metre. Its built with concrete with 44 radial gates. The Barrage has 12,750 cusec discharge ability. This Barrage is mainly used to divert two hundred cusec of water for irrigation by a canal taking off on the right bank side of Tista River.

For producing more crops by providing the irrigation facilities in arable land of north locality of greater Rangpur, Dinajpur, and bogra district Government of that time in 1937 adopted the plan. The original plan was adopted in 1953. But it was not possible to start. Engineers of the BWDB and experts of  BUET jointly reviewed the previous reports and prepared a detailed engin. design. A fresh survey and field investigation was also conducted. Finally The formation of the Tista Barrage started in 1979 and that of the irrigation canals in 1984, and was completed in 1997-1990. President H. M. Ershad officially inaugurated the Tista barrage.

Chini Mosque is located at saidpur sub-district of Nilfamari district. Saidpur is the northern railway and industrial city of Bangladesh. Chini Masjid is one of the most fascinating and distinctive architect. Chini Masjid is also known as glass Mosque. Chini Masjid or Glass Mosque was established in 1883.

Glass mosque was built in only 1 year which seems unbelievable when we take our eyes to the design of external and internal part. To decorated Chini masjid 283 peace of Cross Marble stone werw used. With Cross Marble stone also used 25 tons small chips of Chinaware-plate and pieces of glass(both color and non color) porceline.
Sightly this mosque has 27 towers from which 5 towers still now Incomplete.

Nilsagar is a popular historical dighi (big pond). It is located at Gorgram union about fourteen kilometer south-west of Nilphamari district proper. During the time of Raja Birat there were lot of cow farms at Gorgram union. Raja Birat dug a big pond or dighi for the cows. There many name such as Birat Dighi or Birna Dighi or Binna Dighi. After the independence of Bangladesh the dighi was renamed as Nilsagar .

The total area of the dighi (big pond) is 21.449 ha. The Nilsagar dighi is encompassed by walls. The main embellished Front door of the dighi was established by Raja Birat. Every year the banks of the dighi are used as a village fair during the month of Baisakh. Every year lot of visitors and different type of migratory birds come here. Nilsagar is familiar as a recreation zone. A Hindu temple situated on the east bank and an abode of a Muslim saint on the west bank of the Nilsagar.

One in chittagong;s sitakundu and another in panchagar;s Boddeshori. where the part of shiv fall the place is called pith.Baddeshori mahaoith is one of them.By the name of the temple boda area is named.by the side of river korotoa the temple is a historical place.

The Panchagarh Rocks Museum is the frist rocks mesume of bangladesh. It is located in Panchagarh Govt. Prof. Nazmul Haque, principal of Panchagarh Govt. Mohila College, established the rocks mesume on March 1, 1997. The Rocks museum is seperat into two gallerys, external and internal. In the external gallery there has a vast
number of rocks; and in the internal gallery, there are small stones of different ages.

Collection of Rocks: Petrified Wood and Fossilized Rocks, Granite, Quartzite Shell, Lime Stone, Sist, Hard Rock, Basalt, Silica, Nice, Clay-Rock etc. have been keep in the Rocks museum for display. These are almost 60 pieces of rocks from different age sized by 3-4 inches to 10 feet.

Other Collection of the Rocks Museum:
In the museum there are some other importent collections. Two antiquarian boats which built with only one truck of tree and about 500 to 1000 years ago and Multicolored sand and earth, petrified 'shall wood' and net, very old pictured bamboo fearing, different type antics, very old writings.

Director of National mesume Shamsuzzaman Khan and Hanti Glasi, Professor of Indiana University of USA visited the Museum on May 14, 2000.

Softhori Mosque is located at center of Atwari-Boda road and the bounding line of  Atwari and Thakurgaon subdistrict of Panchagarh. It is the oldest mosque of the district. A person name Sudharu Saha was established Softhori Mosque. No actual information about its formation date. But there is similarity between Softhori Mosque and dome mosque at Mugrapara in Sonargaon in Narayanganj district. Which was build during the Sultani time, in 1478. For the similarity between two mosque it is assumed that Solthori Mosque was established during the Sultani time. Squire Shape  Solthori Mosque has only twelve ft. width walls, with no specific place for the Imam. Hence the entry door is very low and only 5 people can pray together once. In the north and south side there are two small door. The wide compound of the front has an arch. Now The arch has changed its real look. The walls is designed with flower and leafs. The Softhori Mosque was affected by earthquake,  but was reconstructed in 2007

Chaprajhat Masjid is located at Paharvanga village in Atwari sub district of Panchagarh district. It is a mughal architecture sign. This mosque was build during the Mughal period.  This masjid was established by a person named Shahad Mondol, in 1300 hijri. There are three Domes and 4 small towers on the mosque . Some part of the Mosque wall has terracotta arts. The Masjid has a wide brick made compound, with an arch at the gate. This arch has the similarity with Mirzapure Jamei Masjid. The Masjid length is 25 ft and width is 15 ft. Chaprajhat Mosque is not far away from Mirzapur Jamei Masjid. Both Masjid was affected by earthquakes.  It is assumed that the worker of Mirzapure Jamei Mosque, was involved during the established of Chaprajhar Mosque.

History and Description
A inscription wrote in Persianlanguage on the eastern wall of the masjid provide its reconstruction and reparation by one Shaikh Malik-uddin in 1252 BS (1831 AD). But no body dont know its actual construction date. Recently Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh taking care of this masjid .There are two ancient graves to the south side of the mosque and north-east side stands an old well.

The mosque has three domes, an open courtyard (17miter / 14miter) surrounded by wall. access gate room of the courtyard (4.12m / 2.12m with 0.60m thick wall) is situated its east middle side. the gate room covered by sloping four-ways roof.

The mosque is rectangular externally length is 13m width is 5.40m with 3 entry doors on the east and 3 mihrabs on the west wall inside. The middle door and the middle mihrab are gigger than the others, which are of same size and height. There is 2 window in the center of the south and north walls. On the roof There are four towers four corners of the masjid. The walls outside are now whitewashed and the terracotta plaques are painted red creating a very colorful exterior.

A brie history: Sataranci is a thick cotton carpet. Once upon a time Rangpur was famous for Sataranci. That Sataranci was so famous that it is emperor such as Akbar also used it. This Sataranci was devoid from mechanical use.it is made only with bamboo and its shape is geomitrical. Village people made this by their own design.once upon a time the Sataranci of this area was sold in India,Pakistan, Indonesia,Sri lanka,thailand,and malayeshiya and many others countries of the world. by being inspired of this many people of INDIA and Pakistan made Sataranci and export it to other countries and earned many foreign money.in 1830 British collector Mr. Nishbet working in rangpur invest for doing well for this culture. That's why a villageo of rangpur filled with this culture was named nishbet polli.

The lanlord of pirgacha sub district norendro narayan son of raghabendra narayan died in 1765 without any legacy. Then the wife of the died landowner Joydurga manage the landlord for three decades. This Joydurga is popularly known as Devi Chowdhurani in history.in the time of Sonnasi Bidroho (Sannasi revolution) she keep peace with Vobani Pathok and war against English. In this insurgency collector Richard Gudland and army commander lieutenantbrenan got feared and forfeit the landlord of Devi Chowdhurani. This time Devi Chowdhurany Levant her self for some days. After that time she again came to manage the landlord and she manage it for 1791. Now all of the building of it damaged . Only the pond is also now there.

Brief history of Mathapukura Mosque : The mosque is oblong size and it has three domes.its volume is about 10.66m*4.11m. in-front of this masjid beside the surrounded yard there is a entrance door which is made by Bangladeshi local culture. There are also 4 corner tower which is higher than the corner of the roof and finished as a size of kiupola. by dividing the oblongate mosque in three parts with  2 literal vault here it is 3 made semi round domes. 3 mirhab,the in-front wall, para-pate wall,and the drums of the domes all r designed with beautiful panel,spinach,flower, geometrical sizes and as hoods of snake.from the inscription of the wall it is known that the masjid was made by sheikh mohammad asher son of Sheikh Mohammad saber in 1226 hijri (1801).

After his death Bhupendra Narayan was the last landlord of this estate. kachari house of ruined Landlord house is now used as Pirgasha registrar office.

Muslim saint Hajrot Maulana Keramot Ali Jaunapuri (Rh) was the 35 generation of Hajrot Abu Bakkar (Ra) 1st Khalifah (ruler) of Islam. Maulana Jaunapuri (Rh) born in 1225 Hijri at Mulatol colony in Jaunapuri of MadhoProdesh, India. At his Mature age they came to Rangpur for spread Islam. For his wisdom, persona and simple life planning lots of people took Islam as their religion. After his death in 30 may in 1873 beside his tomb the karamotia Mosque was built. rectangular sized this domes mosque Constructed according to the Mughal architecture and local beautiful craft. Its internal size is 42'-0"*13'-0". the Width of the east-west wall of the Mosque is 3'-3" north-south wall is 2'-10". the high of the masjid is 18'-0" from the ground. The domes was built over octogonal drum size platform. in the lower part of the domes there is Marlon designs.

The founder of Deowan Bari Jamindaar Bari was Fonivuson Mojumdar. Fonivuson Mijumdar Father name was Landlord Radharomon and mother's name as Kusum Kumari Devi who was the second wife of Radharomon. He as born in 1892. This landlord house is a small 2 stores Building. but The main gate of the house is look like as a Mughal Castle - gate. After banned the Real estate practices in 1952 The house was auctioned. Now there have a school and some business center.

History of Tajhat palace
Tajhat Jamidar Bari in rangpur district on of the importent attractive Archaeological patterns of the country. The founder of Tajhat Actual estate Mannalal was professional jeweler. they came mahiganje & sate-led here. that time mahigang was a famous business city & headquarter of Rangpur. Mahilal established a bulding at tajhat for business per-pus. The long line of Mannalal Roy's relatives succession ends with a grand-grand-son, Giridharilal Roy. Since Giridhari adopted Gobindalal because they had no children who succeeded to the estate in 1879. After they came to live in Tajhat, because of his mass popularity they was Awarded the title of 'Raja' in 1885, 'Raja bahadur' in 1892 & 'Maharaja; in 1896. Raja Gobindolal met a tragic death his own house in the work of a earthquake in 1897. After his died his son gopal lal ray bahadur (1887-1955) got the actual state & start building the Tajhat jamindar bari. in 1917 construction of the palace was completed. After the finish of the British rule when banned the Actual estate practices in 1952 the building was gone under the department of agriculture, although it was used for courthouse in the work of the 1980s. In the year 1987 it was turned in to a museum with ancient inscriptions, art & coins from the area on display.

This tow Stores and east faces building 76.20 m long in the front side . A 15.24m. wide staircase in the middle Leads directly above the portico to the 1st Flor made with white marble which imported from Spain . The Tajhat Jamidar palace is crowned by a ribbed conical dome with a tall octagonal neck in the midst of the roof supported by a series of slender semi-Corinthian columns.. This palace has 28 number of rooms. In the ground Flor there has four large room and 11 pair windows. and the main Room size is (145*123). On the south and north side there's rounded pillar. In the front of the palace there is a fountain made by marble stone. from 1st Floor Going directly to the second floor has a expanded staircase. the staircase decorated with designed lamp-stand.
